The Legality of Salvia
People often wonder what the legality of salvia is. If you live in the United States it depends on what state you live in.
There are currently 15 states which have made salvia illegal. These include Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois,
Kansas, Kentucky,Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Virginia.
If you do live in one of these states you will not be able to purchase salvia divinorum. If you do live in a state where salvia
is still currently legal, make sure to watch any proposed government action to have to banned.

Salvia in the News
Everytime salvia divinorum is in the news it is because it is being abused in some way. The last example was Miley Cirus and
her use of salvia which was very public. She was videotaped and the video hit main stream media very quickly. In order for
salvia to continue to be kept legal, it must not get the bad reputation that it has been getting. Salvia users should be careful
when are where they use salvia. Salvia is not to be used in parties or any social settings. We want salvia to remain legal
as much as you do so if we all respect it we can make that happen.

Which States is Salvia Legal
Salvia is illegal in 15 of the 50 states in the U.S. The majority of states have had bills presented in their legislature

Is Salvia Legal
The legality of salvia is a big topic of discussion in the United States and the world.
It is an extremely strong hallucinogen, but remains legal in most of the United States. This is in part because Salvinorin-A
is unlike any other psychoactive substance and does not fall under the analog act. The analog act groups illicit substances
in categories so if a compound is chemically similar to another one, then they will both be illegal. Fortunately for people interested in trying salvia the United States has not yet passed a law banning salvia.

There has been a lot of controversy about Salvia Divinorum regarding legal status and

Standardized Extract Versus Un-Standardized Extract
There are two types of salvia extracts on the market today. One of which is a standardized extract and the other is an
unstandardized extract. In the Salvia Divinorum plant there is a psychoactive compound called Salvinorin-A. There is about
2.5 milligrams of this in each gram of Salvia leaf. That is only a tiny amount, not even enough to see with the naked eye.
